Saw something on 9/11

I was in high school when the United States was attacked by terrorists on 9/11.

I remember getting off the bus to go home and, like everyone, I'm sure, looking to the sky to search for a plane.

I saw what appeared to be 10 to 12 little disks. Dark gray on one side, almost white on the other. It was HIGH HIGH altitude.

I didn't know what they were and was too young to really make any conclusions. I believed in UFOs at that point, but that day was confusing to a teenager like I was and to most people because of the significance of watching thousands of people die on live TV. So, I just didn't really put anything into a conclusion after I saw it.

I remember they were all in some kind of formation.

You know, later on, I assumed it was drones, but if they were drones, they were advanced drone technology back in 2001. I feel like they weren't, but who am I to tell?

That was my only real sighting.

I thought I was seeing some sort of crazy UFO experience the first time I saw a "Star Link Train." We had to look that one up!

Did anyone else see anything strange in the sky on that terrible September day?

I remember that day. Although I saw nothing unusual, of course my focus was on the event itself. But I have heard stories about sightings from elsewhere on that day.

I can remember every aspect of that sighting, even how I felt.

I was like 16 or 17 then. I'm 40 now. I can't remember a lot from my childhood and teenage years, but that's one of those memories that I've never forgotten.
