Our technology is weird

If you really sit down and think about it, our (Earth's) technology is bizarre.

Computers, smart phones, VR, stealth aircraft - it's all very odd and confusing to sit down and really understand how it all works.

It makes you wonder if it isn't Earthly technology at all. Maybe we were gifted it? Or we found it? Or copied it?

Some extreme religions believe it's nothing more than sorcery and that of satanic powers.

Food for thought. It wasn't very long ago when we didn't have any of the crazy stuff we have today. We advanced really fast.

Probably because it was a different entity doing it! I mean there's no way man built all that over there.

I do think mankind did in fact build those structures. Now how they did it and what technologies did they use to perform it or was there alien technology used are the unanswered questions.

Personally, I think we got a lot of our current technology from other species. We, Humankind have made such a technological leap in a very short period of time. Just a hundred years ago we were using vacuum tubes and today, we're using rare and exotic metals like cobalt and lithium and a bunch of other stuff I haven't heard of before.

I will agree the pace of technology in the last 100 years has been outlandishly amazing. Almost to the point of disbelief. From steam engines to automated rockets is quite a leap when you look how long it took us to just get to steam engines.

Look how fast this AI is enhancing, too. We went from ChatGPT to everything is now AI and we need mini-nuke plants everywhere to power it all.
