Difference in entity "powers"

I quite like to describe potential abilities of alien entities (such as telepathy) as "superpowers", because they're things we'd consider almost impossible or fantasy-world on our planet.

Do others think that different entities perhaps have developed or have access to different kind of powers? If so, what kind of powers might they have access to, and is there anything in particular that would really scare you?

I think Hollywood has already programmed us for what to expect. They might be smart, but I don't expect any 'superpowers'.
